A. Ordinance No. 23-69 AC CMS: An Ordinance Amending the Civil Service Rules for the City of Oberlin as an Emergency Measure (3rd)(E)
B. Ordinance No. 23-74 AC CMS: An Ordinance Proposing to Amend Sections III (A) (D) and III (E) of the Charter of the City of Oberlin, Ohio, to Provide for Staggered Four-Year Terms for Council Members Commencing with the January 2026 Term, to Establish a Limit of Three Consecutive Terms on the City Council, to Provide for the Filling of Vacancies on the City Council by Appointment Within Sixty (60) Days for the Earlier of the Unexpired Term or Until the Next Regular Municipal Election and to Provide that Salaries for Succeeding Terms of the Members of Council be Fixed by Ordinance as an Emergency Measure (2nd)(E)
C. Ordinance No. 23-75 AC CMS: An Ordinance Authorizing and Directing the Submission to a Vote of the Electors of the City of Oberlin, Ohio, at a Special Election to be Held on March 19, 2024, a Proposal to Amend Section III (F) of the Charter of the City of Oberlin, Ohio, to Authorize the City Council to Prescribe the Manner in Which it Holds its Meetings by Ordinance as an Emergency Measure (2nd)(E)
D. Ordinance No. 23-77 AC CMS: An Ordinance Authorizing and Directing the Submission to a Vote of the Electors of the City of Oberlin, Ohio, at a Special Election to be Held on March 19, 2024, a Proposal to Amend Section IX (C)(6) of the Charter of the City of Oberlin, Ohio, to provide that no Additional Readings of an Ordinance or Resolution be Required that has not been Passed by a Majority Vote of the Members of Council on a First or Second Reading and that an Ordinance or Resolution that has not been Passed by at Least a Majority Vote of the Members of Council Upon Final Reading may be Re-Introduced at a Subsequent Meeting of Council as an Emergency Measure (2nd)(E)
E. Ordinance No. 23-78 AC CMS: An Ordinance Authorizing and Directing the Submission to a Vote of the Electors of the City of Oberlin, Ohio, at a Special Election to be Held on March 19, 2024, a Proposal to Amend Section X of the Charter of the City of Oberlin, Ohio, to Provide a Procedure for Ordinances or Resolutions to go into Immediate Effect Upon the Approval of at Least Five (5) Members of the City Council and to Delete Existing References to the Emergency Passage of Legislation as an Emergency Measure (2nd)(E)
F. Ordinance No. 23-79 AC CMS: An Ordinance Authorizing and Directing the Submission to a Vote of the Electors of the City of Oberlin, Ohio, at a Special Election to be Held on March 19, 2024, a Proposal to Amend Section XIV (B) and (C) of the Charter of the City of Oberlin to Specify the Information to be Provided to the City Council by the City Manager and to Authorize the City Manager to Serve on Boards and Commissions when Required by Law or Ordinance as an Emergency Measure (2nd)(E)
G. Ordinance No. 23-80 AC CMS: An Ordinance Authorizing and Directing the Submission to a Vote of the Electors of the City of Oberlin, Ohio, at a Special Election to be Held on March 19, 2024, a Proposal to Amend Section XIX(G) of the Charter of the City of Oberlin, Ohio, to Authorize the Adoption of Civil Service Rules that Differ from State Law, to Clarify that the Requirement for a Written Reason for a Discharge Reduction in Rank or Pay of an Employee and an Opportunity to be Heard is Limited to Members of the Classified Civil Service and to Expand the Prohibition of Discrimination to Include Religion, Sex, Ancestry, Martial Status, and Gender Identity and Expression as an Emergency Measure (2nd)(E)
